Caroline Stanbury is a "very stylish girl" as the line Patricia Neal says in the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's '. She is the favorite among the cast of Bravo's 'Ladies of London' series. From outside apperances she appears to live a charmed life as a lady of leisure going to fancy lunches, spa trips, charity functions, dinners at smart members only clubs and shopping all day.
She is anything but. She was the founder of Gift Library in London which had a successful run, is involved in numerous charities, a patron of the arts and a collector. Gift-library was an e-commerce boutique, where Stanbury scours the world for unique and bespoke items. When she wants to add to her collection she like other Hermes collectors often source the secondary market for instant gratificatiion. She also loves to collect Chanel as evidenced on the show and on her Instagram account (205k).
Her penchant for these luxury handbags started when she was given her first Birkin at 21. She had around 25 Hermes bags at last count. Her most recent acquistion is the Kelly Sellier Epsom 28cm in Bubblegum Pink.
Chanel bags also recieve as much love as she has a sizable Boy and Double flap collection. She has built a shrine to house all these lovely bags in her stunning home in Surrey.
